Progress, once
it turns
toward oblivion,

seems to
pick up
the pace—

feels more
inevitable then
than ever.

 

 

Ambush  


Last night
the full

moon came
on full

tilt, sulfur
smudge on

the horizon
firing up

to white-
hot spotlight,

dizzy Greensboro
blinking below.
