From "The Split"

Times there were when we
                    saw love
light rooms so vast it made
                    us love
ourselves.  You in your
                    lazy
leisure suit, zippered Orlon,
                    baby
blue, me in my hearts
                    peignoir—
we were a pair!  Barely
                    coming
up for air, smearing up
                    a storm.
Hand over your tobacco
                    pouch, your

whiskey and the vindaloo.
Let's make like we're not through.
