Richard P. Locke Richard P. Locke is a linguist currently researching the regional dialects of Ohio. He has had poetry appear in fruit and is now working on a poetic translation of Old English maxims. He splits his time between Columbus and his home in the Berkshires where he hosts a writing workshop at the NecroLyceum.

We tumble from the bar
like only live music can,
smelling like the ass-end
of Mexico, debating poetry.

You say it's like a pot-belly stove.
I say it's more like a brothel.
The worm
at the bottom of our pretension says
it is more like one
in the other.
